MATCOAT range is transparent or colored film forming coating polymers based on methacrylic acid co-polymers type A, B & C confirms to USP/NF & EP specifications. The range of metcoat is useful for film coating, enteric coating, moisture barrier coating, sustained release, taste masking of bitter drugs, binder for powders, transdermal therapeutic system etc.
Liquid form - Two year from date of manufacturing in intact condition
Powder form - Five year from date of manufacturing in intact condition
As Metcoat range is a high molecular weight polymer, it cannot be absorbed by body. Thus, it is safe for human consumption.
Test for toxicological tolerance shows that it does not have any pronounced or physiological action
Powder: Store at a dry place, below 40oC.
Liquid: Store at a dry place, between 5o C to 35oC. Do not freeze.
Liquid form - 60kg plastic drum.
Powder form - 5kg and 20kg net in corrugated with polyethylene liner.
